About Me

I am a fully qualified Counsellor and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I am predominantly a humanistic, person-centred counsellor although I do integrate other counselling approaches depending on the issues you are struggling with. I have a gentle but effective approach, and the therapy I offer allows you the opportunity to explore your thoughts and feelings in a welcoming, safe, supportive and non-judgemental confidential space, which allows you to experience a relationship which provides you with support and encouragement as together we explore ways to facilitate psychological health and growth, helping you discover a new perspective and more comfortable way of living.

Experience

I have extensive experience of working in a variety of different settings including: charity agencies, GP Practice and the voluntary sector in the local community, working with adults from various backgrounds with issues including: Anxiety, Stress, Depression, Low Self-esteem, Low Self-confidence, Loss, Bereavement, Grief, Sadness, Social Anxiety, Relationship issues, Bullying and Assertiveness.
